It actually depends on what is your catch :) . I guess that is the difference between Fortunate and Unfortunate people.

What I meant was if you were the kind who'd believe in taking life as it comes, you'd want to catch everything - opportunities and misfortunes (apparently turning them into opportunities as well). If you have to do that in Java, you'd probably catch "Throwable".
Or catch (...) in C++
